Au Milieu Des Vignes: Romantic gite with pool near Royan

Set among the vineyards and sunflowers in the small hamlet of Thezac, our Gite is just 15 minutes from the nearby beaches of Royan and St Georges de Didonne. The Gite has recently been tastefully renovated to provide large spacious accommodation to the discerning couple and is set in the grounds of a traditional Charentaise farmhouse.

From June 2006 the gite will also benefit from an 11metre x 5 metre swimming pool set within the grounds of the property. Au Milieu Des Vignes provides spacious accommodation set on the outskirts of a typical french village yet remains close to all the amenities, (restaurants, shops, bakery, tennis etc.)

The location provides an excellent base for wine tasting visits to the infamous vineyards of Bordeaux (1 hour) or for visits to the distilleries in nearby Cognac (35 minutes). Closer afield many local vineyards produce tables wines, cognac and the local speciality of Pineau de Charente.
